Ms. LeeAnn (Long) Donald transitioned to be with her Heavenly Father on January 2, 2022, at the age of 66 years. LeeAnn was reunited with her husband, Charlie Donald, daughter, Wardine Long, grandson, Darion Smith, parents, Arrie and Jerry Long, and ten siblings: Mary Neil, Lorraine, Mary Louise, Ethel, Carline, Wilfred, Wenford, Willie, Roscoe and Cecil Long.
Lee Ann was born on May 22, 1955, in Vassar, Michigan. She was a faithful member of Community Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Superintendent Willie Smith Sr. and Pastor Willie Hill. Lee Ann served on the Usher Board for many years. She will be remembered for her outspoken personality and audible voice.
LeeAnn leaves to cherish her memories three children, Charles (Shemecka) Long, Robert Long and Deon (Sarah) Hayes, Lafayette, Ohio; stepdaughters, Sandquetta (Wesley) Nash, Lewisville, Texas, and Donetha (David) Palmer, Waterloo, Iowa; twelve grandchildren, Devin and Zaire Donald, Nia, Robert Jr., Devontae, Fantashia, and Charlesha Long, Deon Jr., Carter, Braylon, Jaden and Kaydence Hayes; two brothers, Warren and Narvel Long; six sisters-in-law, Helen Howard, Lumberton, North Carolina, Inez Roundtree, Marion Donald, Annie Donald, Ernestine Donald, and Ruby Donald; many other relatives and friends including her Community Temple Church Family, Charlene Thomas, and Dallas McKenzie.
She was also preceded in death by four nieces, Suzie, Lee, Fatima, and Lela Long, two nephews, Eugene and Lloyd Long; brothers-in-law; Revel, Bobbie, Joe, Melvin, Willie, and Jimmy Donald; sisters-in-law, Erma Shorter and Barbara Pipkins; mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Wardine Donald.
