Leigh Andrea King Annie passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at her residence. Age 42 years. She was born March 4, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan to Pearl Brown King and Lee M. King Jr.
Leigh Andrea graduated from Ruben Daniels Lifelong Learning Center in 1997. She was baptized at Zion Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Roosevelt Austin. Leigh Andrea was a member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie Hill. She loved to cook and style hair. Leigh Andrea loved spending time with friends and family. Always the one to entertain, she was the life of the party. Gone but not forgotten, her presence will be missed by all who knew and love her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Stephon Roby; parents, Pearl and Lee Henderson; three sisters, Cloveese (Johannes) Hossman, Paris, France, Stephanie King and Kathryn Booker, both of Saginaw, Michigan; two brothers, Lethaniel M. King III, Baldwin, Michigan, Latrell M. King, Saginaw, Michigan; her extended siblings, Regina Crudup, Renita Hendricks, Rhonda Atkins, Yvonne Jones, Janita Bond, Tashia Phoenix, Andrelette, Cindy and Kimberlee Shields, Lee Gaddis, Willie Hendricks Jr.; aunts, Elsenia Porterfield, Paulette Fredericks, Carol Wesley, Gloria Eiland, Gloria King and Ernestine Henderson, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Diana Jones, Austin, Texas, Nannie Walker and Deloris Coleman, both of Caroline County, Virginia; her loving nieces and nephews, Corey, Branden, Jaysen, Artimese and Latrell King Jr., Anthony Hendricks, Fugence and Anissa Hossman; a very special niece, Cortney M. King; her childhood friends, Tara, Andrea Duckey, Desiree and Danielle; many other relatives and friends including her dear and special friend, Wuanita Baker, Ida Casey and favorite neighbor, Tony T.
Leigh was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharleea A. King, father, Lee M. King Jr., one sister, Anessa M. Hendricks, grandparents, Arlean Hardiman, Hayes and Ardell Brown, one nephew, Marquis Meeks, one cousin, Reginald Morris and several aunts and uncles.
