Lekeishia Young

Lekeishia Delynn Young was born November 28, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Patricia Young.

LeKeishia graduated from Bridgeport High School, Class of 1999. After high school she attended Delta College, Eastern Michigan University and Ross Medical School. At the time of her death she was residing in Wyoming, Michigan. Her hobbies included making and selling decorative vases, playing spades, pitty-pat and dominos with the pimp (her nickname for her father). LeKeishia also enjoyed the casino. She was a very nice and loving person, always smiling and she got joy out of surprising her parents with gifts. Her beautiful spirit will be missed.

LeKeishia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Julyann Young, LC Townsend, Bonnie Jackson and many aunts and uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Robert and Patricia Young; one sister, Dayna Young; one brother, Michael Coleman; aunts, Christine Young, Pamala Sawyer, Tanya Rozier, Dorothy and Shirley Siler; uncles, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Townsend, Michael (Valerie) Townsend, Edward Jackson, Freemond Jackson, David Jackson, Gene Siler, Willie Rollie, Willie Scott and Marvin Henry; godparents, Cornell (Margaret) Jones, Sherry Hammond, Bobby Shakespeare, Marge Schnell, Ann Boatman, Floyd (Karen) Tilden; three godsisters, Malina Rollie, Chelene Scott, Shamell Smith and Yasmeen Davenport; five godbrothers, Dwight Haynes, Justin Patterson, Corian, Jemar, and Alex Rozier; special friend and goddaughter, Kandyss Standifer and Best Friend Jan Storm.

The family would like to express special thanks to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, monetary gifts, food, visits, calls and expressions of love, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel. Thank You All.
