Lenore Denise Forté

Ms. Lenore Denise Forté passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 57 years. The 3rd of 4 children, Lenore was born on January 5, 1965, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Johnny Jr. and Elizia Luciel Forté.

Lenore was educated in Saginaw Public Schools and was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Her hobbies were playing bingo, knitting, and partying. She loved spending time with the family, laughing and “making them pay attention.” Lenore will be missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.

She leaves to cherish loving memories three daughters and two sons, Derrick, Tamara, Aysha Forté, and Erica and Arrit Ball; grandchildren, Diamond Forté, Ryan Jr. and Tamia Williams, Jamarvion Forté, JaLaiyah Reed, Cam’Ryn and Jameelah Ball, and JaVari Smith; one sister, LaLesha Forté; one brother, Alvin Forté; many nieces and nephews including a favorite niece and nephew, Geanine Atkins and Edward Forté; many uncles and cousins; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Forté; and special friend, Anthony Owens.

Lenore was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Jr. and Elizia Forté; sister, Marilyn Moore; grandparents, Jim and McClure Atkins, Johnny Sr., and Mary Jane Forté; niece, Michelle Crisp; and two best friends, Adonia Underwood and Belinda Williams.
