Leon "Boo" Greenwood (Lansing)

Mr. Leon "Boo" Greenwood passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems, Sparrow Campus in Lansing, Michigan. Age 40 years. Boo was born on December 18, 1981, to his mother Theresa Artis and father, Leon V. Greenwood. He was raised with his siblings; sister, Shaneka (Demetrius) Winston, and brothers, Antoine (Jasmine) Greenwood and Lamar Greenwood.

He loved his family and was willing to do anything to protect them.

Leon leaves behind daughters, Jazmine, Natasha, Aliciana, Francesca, and son, Leon; beloved granddaughter, Za’Nya; a loving grandfather, Isaac Greenwood; special cousins, Morris Wise and Angela Burke; and many many more, including aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Leon was preceded in death by son Deon Greenwood; grandparents, Patricia and James Artis, and Minnie Greenwood; aunt, Verna Walker; and cousin, Damya Rodgers. Though his time here on earth has come to an end, the memories of him will live on in those that loved him.
