Mr. LeRoy Pearson, Jr. passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 50 years. Born to parents, Dorothy and LeRoy “Toby” Pearson, Sr. on October 31, 1970.
He will be remembered for making people laugh through jokes and storytelling. LeRoy had such a tough exterior yet big heart. He loved fishing, music, good food and big bear hugs.
LeRoy was so unbelievably proud of his kids and grandkids; he never missed an opportunity to tell them this.
We will always love and remember him. Ooohh baby!
LeRoy leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Porshia (Devonte) Coleman, LeRoy (Erica) Pearson, III., Marcell Jones, LaKeisha Gilpin, LeeShya (Jamel) Dukes, Denzel Pearson, Naaliya Pearson; 23 beautiful grandchildren; parents, Dorothy and LeRoy “Toby” Pearson, Sr.; siblings, Dorleain Pearson, Dorothy J. Pearson, Michael A. Pearson, and Frenchie D. Pearson; many other cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his significant other, Staci Lang.
He is preceded in death by son, Skyler Eva; and brother, Stanley Pearson.
