Ms. Leticia Valentina Vela passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Age 26 years. Leticia “Letii” was born on April 24, 1991 in Saginaw, Michigan to Arthur Vela and Rose M. Ramirez.
Letii was a resident of Saginaw many years before moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Saginaw. We will always remember her smile which she always had no matter what. She enjoyed being with her children and family, and shopping with her mother.
Letii leaves to cherish loving memories three sons, Angelo Benavides, Jr., Amariano Vela and LaDale Nelson, Jr. “L.J.”; two beautiful daughters, Nadia Houston Vela and London Rose Ramirez; her mother, Rose M. Ramirez; father, Arthur Vela; two sisters, Irene M. “Mimi” Perez; Jessica (Steve) Rivera; four brothers, Benito D. Perez, Alex (Samantha) Perez, Arthur Ruben (Roseanna) Vela Ramirez , Roy R. (Selena) Ramirez; grandmother, Juanita E. Ramirez; special cousins, Joseph and Christina Ortiz; special nephew, Christopher Villenueva; special nieces, AnTasia Mitchell, Valincia Villenueva, Aurbyana Saenz; many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Leticia was preceded in death by her best friend, Fidel Briones; and Donovan Ray Houston.
