Liborio "Leroy" Canales

Mr. Liborio “LeRoy” Canales passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 63 years. He was born July 23, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to Encarnacion and Guadalupe Canales.

LeRoy attended public school in Saginaw and Bay City, Michigan. He was the co-founder of Canales Towing with his father and brother Gene. LeRoy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved playing pool, chess, and cooking, but he specialized in mechanics. LeRoy was always willing to help others. He will be truly missed by all those who loved him dearly.

He leaves to cherish loving memories five daughters, Angela, Patricia, Olivia, Mercedes, and Andrea; four sons, Liborio, Jr., Michael, Guadalupe, and Juan; thirteen grandsons; seventeen granddaughters; three great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; six sisters, Micaela (Tom) Gower, Gloria Canales, Josefina Canales, Irene Canales, Susie Martinez, and Julia (Juan) Avila; two brothers, Francisco Canales and Eugene Canales; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Kelly Wysocki.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, Encarnacion and Guadalupe Canales; one brother, John Canales; one sister, Theresa Canales, and his son, Nicholas Canales.
