Ms. Lilli Ann Abby was born February 6, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Willie and Florean (Jackson) Abby. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the age of 65 years.
Lilli, lovingly called “Ninnie” by her family, was grouped with two other siblings of hers. The three youngest children (Lilli, Elaine, Willie) were referred to as “The Three Little Kids” because they were born in Saginaw and the others were born in Mississippi.
Ninnie loved the Lord and she loved singing for the Lord. She previously hosted her own radio program called “Misunderstanding God’s Word.” She often hoped to revisit this passion of hers.
In her spare time, Ninnie loved to watch old movies, with her favorites being Godzilla and King Kong. She also stayed on her phone playing online games. Ninnie’s sweet spirit, beautiful soul and loving presence will truly be missed.
Lilli was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Florean Abby; one brother-in-law; special friend, Georgia Castell; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Kenosha (Andre) Goulbourne, Flint, Michigan; one son, Isaac Abby, Flint, Michigan; grandchildren, Jamel Corley, Jr., Ira Goulbourne, Kendre Goulbourne, all of Flint, Michigan, Juan Allen, Saginaw, Michigan; four sisters, Loudean Moultrie, Madie Harrow, Louise (Curtis) Helton, Elaine Abby; two brothers, Sheardell Abby, Willie Abby III; aunts, Annie Jackson, Christine Coleman; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Diane Barnett, Pat Moore Williams, Sylvia Lewis and Mary Little.
