Mrs. Lillian Jackson, a great mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 68 years. Lillian was born March 15, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to James and Elnora Vaughn.
Lillian attended Bethlehem Baptist Church and New Friendship Baptist Church. She graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1971, was employed and retired from Dow Corning Corporation where she worked in Packaging. Lillian had a loving smile and loved making people laugh. She was the best shopper ever. Lillian was only a call away for anyone in need.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Kevan L. Jackson Jr., Demond M. Jackson; one daughter, Shayla L. Jackson; grandchildren, De’Ondre (Tracee) James, Las Vegas, Nevada, De’Corrion Robinson, Cincinnati, Ohio, De’Ara Jackson, Saginaw, Michigan, Demond Jackson Jr., Big Rapids, Michigan, Destini Gibbs, Saginaw, Michigan, Demylo Jackson, Columbus, Ohio, Aaron Hazard, Los Angeles, California; great-grandchildren, Khazmier, De’Ondre Jr., and Jaiah, Las Vegas, Nevada; grandparents, Sara and Adam Thompson; five sisters, Sharon Walker, Rosie (Jerry) Chapman, Beverly (Jerome) Holiday, Cynthia (Darrell) Morris, Shauntel Vaughn; three brothers, James (Tanya) Vaughn, Charles Vaughn, and Richard Vaughn; several nieces including a close special niece, Sarena Harris; several nephews including a close special nephew, Brian Vaughn; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; two sisters-in-law, June Pratt and Tanya Vaughn; six brothers-in-laws, Jerry Chapman, Darrell Morris, Jerome Holiday, Norvell Simms, Joseph Jackson, and Ronnie Jackson; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Edith Holmes, Vanessa Davenport, Stephanie McMillon, and Ola Pritchett.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Kevan Jackson Sr.; parents, James, and Elnora Vaughn; great-grandchild, Kyree; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Elnora Jackson; nephew, Richard “Sport” Vaughn Sr.; brothers-in-law, Earl Jackson Jr., and Sam Jackson; sister-in-law, Ester Green.
