Mrs. Lillian Earl Taylor was born February 19, 1943, in Gallion, Alabama. She was the daughter of Jack and Annie Bell Lewis. She departed peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022, in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 79.
Lillian was one of thirteen children and attended Linden Academy where she completed her high school education. Lillian enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball, specifically the Los Angeles Lakers. She was a member of Greater Love Apostolic Temple, Lansing, Michigan.
After relocating to Lansing, Michigan, Lillian was a diligent employee; working for General Motors for over 30 years until retirement.
Lillian was a dedicated and devoted wife for over 40 years. She was a loving and committed mother to her six children. Anyone who knew Lillian knew she was a hard worker and a very kind woman.
She enjoyed being around her General Motors and Greater Love families.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 1 daughter, Rosa Taylor of Lansing, Michigan; 6 sons, Cunningham Taylor, Jr., of Lansing, Michigan, Michael (Shana) Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mark (Crystal) Taylor of Seattle, Washington, Philip (Lisa) Taylor of Lansing, Michigan, Andre (Catina) Taylor of Lansing, Michigan, and Pete Gonzalez of Lansing, Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Lucy Williams of Lansing, Michigan; 2 brothers-in-law, Frank Houston and Tommie Peterson , and many others, including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Annie Bell Lewis; granddaughter, Ashlie M. Taylor; 8 brothers, Nathaniel, Morris, James, Alfonso, John, Milton, Earnest, and Jack Lewis; and 3 sisters, Roberta Peterson, Annie Houston and Tina Lewis.
