Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Ms. Lillie M. Hunter-Temple went home peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Age 73 years. Lillie was born in Newton, Mississippi, on December 26, 1949, to George and Lillie Ann Hunter.
Lillie, a homemaker, was better known as “Dump,” to family and friends. She received her certificate as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Lillie enjoyed shopping, dressing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Bessie Wadley, Saginaw, Michigan, Cynthia Temple, Grand Rapids, Michigan; two sons, Fredrick Temple, Saginaw, Michigan, and Louis (Sina) Temple, Toledo, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Patricia (Antonio) Durham, Louis Temple Jr., and Jordon Temple, all of Toledo, Ohio, Fredrick Temple, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Taylor Wadley, Saginaw, Michigan, and Izsiah Walker, Grand Rapids, Michigan; special grandson, Mark Wadley; twelve great-grandchildren; one special great-grandson, Cash Booker; two brothers, George and Victor Hunter, Saginaw, Michigan; and one sister, Mae (Cleophus) Ruth, Bryon, Ohio.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillie Ann Hunter; two brothers, Leroy, and Alexander Hunter; and one uncle, James Chapman.
