Linda Ann Hightower

Our Queen Linda, a Christian beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2010. Age 55 years. She was born May 12, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Georgia West and J. T. Ervin.
Linda met and married Kenneth Hightower and to this union a son and a daughter were born. She was a member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Burt, Michigan where Pastor Albert Haynes presides. Linda worked
faithfully as a cook and kitchen help and served on the
Usher Board until her health failed. Linda was a tither,
she believed in giving back to God, giving to and helping
others. She loved cooking, entertaining, being with family and friends. Linda retired from Steering Gear GM and was a member of Local 699 of Saginaw, MI and Dow Corning Semi Conductor, Hemlock, MI.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Robert Jovan Scott; a daughter, Monique Latrice Hightower; four special daughters, Lanette and Lakesha West, Takia and Gwen Ervin; three grandchildren, Robert K., Trenyce, Alexandria Scott all of Saginaw, MI; her heart and special sister, Gloria Penny West, loving sisters and brothers, Georgia (Leo) Hemphill, Delanine Layton, Eunice Ervin, Gloria (Walton) Johnson, J.T. (Shirley) Ervin Jr., Bruce West, Willie Ervin, Joseph (Diane) Ervin, Darnell Laury and Eklston Laury, a friend Sammy Clark; father and mother-in-law, Willie and Addie (Hightower); her most cherished Aunt Clotee (Ronald) Fuller; uncle Howard Bennett; god-son, DaVeonce Washington; many other loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Linda was proceded in death by her parents, J. T. Ervin and Georgia West; her husband, Kenneth Hightower; father, Leo Laury; sister, Cleo Bennett.
