Linda Cobb

September 16, 1953 — April 29, 2016

Ms. Linda Lou (Dean) Cobb passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan at the age of 62 years. She was born September 16, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to Clarence Edward Dean and Barbara Mae (Hartman) Dean.
Linda loved to read, loved animals, especially cats and birds, and she enjoyed tending to her flower garden. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1971, and attended Delta College to study Nursing. Linda was employed by Rico Tool for several years and later transferred to HTC until she retired in July of 2015. During this time, she became a certified EMT and served as the volunteer coordinator for the American Red Cross. Linda was also pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She loved children and could often be heard telling stories of her grandchildren. Nothing was more important to Linda than her family. She will be remembered by family and friends who loved her dearly.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Sarah McKenzie Cobb; one son, Christopher Michael Cobb; three grandchildren, David Dean Cobb, Joseph Alexander Averill and Abigail McKenzie Cobb; one sister, Kelly Jo Dean Kemerer; one brother, Tim Edward Dean; four nephews, Rob, Bill, James and Dan; four aunts, Jacque, Patricia, Bette, and Jean; two uncles, Charles and Edmund; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Barbara Dean and great-uncle, Cecil.
The family wishes to thank relatives and friends for all expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.
