Linda Foote

March 22, 1951 — October 19, 2015

Linda Joyce Robbins-Foote was born March 22, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan to Rev. Alfred Robbins and Jessie Robbins. Linda departed this earthly life to gain eternal life on Sunday, October 19, 2015 at Heartland Healthcare in Bridgeport, Michigan.
Linda was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended schools in Buena Vista Township and was a graduate of Buena Vista High School, Class of 1969. Linda was employed at Burlington Coat Factory for over twenty years. She exhibited and extended warmth and compassion to everyone.
Linda was an active, diligent, faithful member of Greater Williams Temple Church of God in Christ and North Central Jurisdiction until she became too ill to serve. She served in various auxiliaries and committees at her local church and in the North Central Jurisdiction under the leadership of Bishop H. J. Williams and Bishop J. Drew Sheard. Lindas multiple acts of servitude include: devout choir member from her youth until her young adult life, altar attendant, culinary worker, custodial services, serving on the financial committee at her local church as well as North Central Jurisdiction (treasurer of Womens Ministry, church services and special occasions), Praise/Devotional Leader. She relentlessly served on the Benevolence Committee (visiting the sick and shut-in), former president of Young Womens Christian Council (Y.W.C.C.), member of Christian Womens Council (C.W.C.), and was a member of the Daughters of Zion under the leadership of the late Mother Gercile Poole, serving as a devotional leader.
Linda loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She was a humorous person who loved to entertain her friends and make people laugh. She loved to minister and uplift the hearts of people who were hurting, using her tragedies to help others triumph. Linda was famous for telling and living her words trust God. She would oftentimes quote Isaiah 54:17, Philippians 1:6, Galatians 6:9, and Psalm 91. Linda loved God with everything. Like David, in the Bible, she was a woman after Gods heart. Her mission in life was to please her Heavenly Father and to hear Him say Well done thy good and faithful servant.
Linda was an exceptional mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister and friend. She left a lasting imprint of love and generosity in everyones heart that was blessed to know her. She was the mother of two children, Robert E. Foote and Tori Foote-Parker who were her heartbeat.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Tori (Jabez) Parker; her mother, Mrs. Jessie Robbins; two grandchildren who were the "apple of both of her eyes," TiAirus Foote and Jabez Parker II;she also leaves Mr. Robert L. Foote with whom she shared her most precious gifts, her two children; one sister, Mrs. Phoebe R. Seevers; two brothers, Elder Wayne M. (Angela) Robbins of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Rev. Gary T.
