Linda Lou Galvin passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at her residence. Age 60 years. She was born February 8, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Juanita Marshall Galvin.
Linda relocated to Saginaw, Michigan at an early age. She attended Saginaw Public Schools. Linda was employed with the State of Michigan as an Adult Healthcare Aide. She loved visiting churches and she became a member of Bethesda Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Nick Hall. Linda enjoyed shopping and decorating. She was a fun person who had a great sense of humor. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her very special friend, Kenneth Laury; two sons, Patrick (Zandia) Galvin and Robert Lee Galvin; her grandchildren, Pattrick Roby, Ramone, Raquan, Tahquia, Sheresse and Ava; one great-grandchild, Lonnie James; seven sisters, Hattie Oliver, Barbara Galvin, Rosie Oliver, Angela Galvin, Louise Oliver, Lena (Danny) Monroe, Diane Galvin; five brothers, Michael (Cynthia) Galvin, Cornelius (Brenda) Galvin, Eddie Oliver, Larry Galvin, Freddie Galvin; several nieces and nephews; eight aunts and eight uncles; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Marie Hall, Darnell Black and Cheryl Hillman.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Galvin, stepmother, Jessie Galvin, one brother, Allen Galvin, one sister, Jessie Oliver, one uncle, Willie Galvin, nephews, Rance Black, Quintravis Galvin and DaVarion Galvin.
