Our beloved Linda Kay Rogan went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Age 56 years. She was born November 1, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to Haywood Rogan Jr. and Margaret Gene Trammell.
Linda was a resident of Lansing, Michigan for over 15 years. She enjoyed attending church. Linda was a member of Lansing Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Samuel Jr. and First Lady Dorothy Duncan. She was employed at the Vlassic Pickle Factory. Linda loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her son and grandchildren. She loved to shop and talk with her friends. Linda loved helping anyone in need and she would give you the clothes off her back. She was a great woman whose presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Deon Rogan; grandchildren, Jenessa Mounts of Arizona, Alexis and Deon Rogan Jr. both of Lansing, Michigan, Jeremiah Henderson of Sterling Heights, Michigan; god-daughter, Miracle Emerson; four sisters, Joyce (James) Rogan Buriel, Gail (Charles) Rogan-McAbee, Deborah and Valerie Toney all of Saginaw, Michigan; one brother, Terry (Christine) Rogan of Pontiac, Michigan; two sisters-in-law, JoAnn and Sheila Rogan both of Saginaw, Michigan; her companion and his family, Harvey Edwards and the Edwards family; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Karen Sanders, Sherl Darby, Yvonne Riggins, Shontell Woodhouse, Barnes Reynolds, Navillus Hamilton, Doug and the Ragland family, the Young family, Mary Williams, Terry and the Cunningham family and all her Lansing, Michigan friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Haywood Rogan Jr., grandparents, Carrie and Ben Trammell, two sisters, Patricia Rogan Fuller and Evelyn Rogan Terrell, three brothers, Norris, Larry and Tony Rogan, one cousin, Zelda Ragland.
The family wishes to express special thanks to New Faith Temple, Lansing Church of God in Christ , St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel and to everyone who offered prayers, condolences and kind words.
