Lisa Faye Witherspoon (Lansing)

Ms. Lisa Faye Witherspoon departed this life at the age of 53 on Monday, March 26, 2018 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born on January 20, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan to Lonnie and Lucille Witherspoon.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan in 1989. During the majority of her professional career, she worked in the banking industry. Lisa was a Quality Assurance Specialist at Informatix in East Lansing, Michigan. She was a loving and kind-hearted person. Her radiant smile was unforgettable and illuminating. Lisa accepted Christ as her Savior. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where she served on the Interior Design Committee. She was always willing to help where needed. Lisa enjoyed music, movies, shopping and especially spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her fabulous fried chicken along with her macaroni and cheese. Lisa was loved by all her family members and friends.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two sisters, Doris M. Witherspoon and Sandra L. Witherspoon-Brown; brother, Lonnie L. (Monique Tripp Witherspoon) Witherspoon, Jr.; nieces, Sierra N. Brown, Shayna L. Brown and Dalyce E. Witherspoon; nephews, Barnett Brown III and LeeLon E. Witherspoon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lonnie and Lucille Witherspoon; and her two sisters, Linda K. Witherspoon and Wanda L. Witherspoon.
