Lisa Jones (Lansing)

Ms. Lisa ReNae Jones passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 46 years. Lisa was born July 13, 1975, in Southfield, Michigan to parents, Karen Brintley and Lloyd Wright.

Lisa graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan and then went on to earn her Associates Degree from ITT Technical Institute. She worked hard and was awarded many special honors. Lisa found employment with The Department of Human Services and later the Texas Department of Social Services. Later she would hold several other jobs, including Shipt.

She loved visiting Cedar Point and riding all the coasters. Lisa was also an avid bowler. She was well versed in cooking and enjoyed serving up special food for her loved ones.

Lisa had a warm. Loving, and friendly disposition. People she met would always say how polite and lovely she was. Her beautiful spirit will be missed greatly.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Orlandus Calhoun, Jr. and Zachery Calhoun; a daughter, Te’Ana Boone; grandson, Frank Todd Calhoun; parents, Karen Brintley and Lloyd Wright; aunts, Karla Brintley, Laura Brintley, and Ruthie Wright; uncles, Johnnie Wright and Willie Welch; cousins, Christina Brintley, Nicole Brintley and Nicholas Raymond Parker; and many other relatives and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mary Brintley and Ethel Lee Jones; and grandfathers, Samuel Brintley and Rufus Wright.

The family would like to express special thanks to the McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital Intensive Care Unit and Paradise Funeral Chapel and Arrangement Services.
