Lizzie Johnson made her transition on Thursday, May 17, 2012 to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family whom she loved and cherished dearly. She was born August 9, 1929 in Sharkey County, Mississippi to Willie and Estella (Stuckey) Davis. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She retired from Nursing in 1972. She was very out spoken with a sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and doing her nails.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lovy Johnson; one daughter, Maggie Crumpton, four sons, Rufus, Lovell, Eugene (Blue) and Charles Johnson all of Saginaw, Michigan; many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, other relatives and friends, including special granddaughters who she loved dearly, Brandy Jackson, Dominique Griffin, grandsons, Ryan Johnson,Torion Johnson; god-children, Elaine and Denna; one sister-in-law, Bertha (Leon) Payne.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Leroy, McNeal and Jerome Johnson, one daughter, Louise Griffin "Teda", one granddaughter, LaMonica Sykes, parents, Willie and Estalla Davis, father and mother-in-law, Buster and Maggie Johnson.
