Lorenzo Logan (Lansing)

January 19, 1966 — April 25, 2021

Mr. Lorenzo Logan passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 55 years. He was born to Amoze and Ethel Logan in Orange, Texas, on January 19, 1966.

Lorenzo graduated from West Orange-Stark High School and later went to Lansing Community College (LCC). He made Lansing, Michigan his home and got married on September 14, 2014, to his lovely wife, Dianna Logan.

He was a man that loved his family and never met a stranger. Lorenzo worked in all different fields, including at hospitals, restaurants, factories, and he worked in New Orleans during the Hurricane Katrina clean-up.

Lorenzo was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to play dominoes and chess. He adored being a father figure, a grandfather and was a role model for many young men. Lorenzo attended Christ Kingdom Builders Church and most recently The Bread House led by Bishop Alfred P. Singleton, II. Lorenzo will truly be missed by family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Dianna Logan of Lansing, Michigan; son, Legregory Williams; granddaughters, Laveyha Williams and Laviayha Woods of Lansing, Michigan; two sisters, Martha Melebeck of Lansing, Michigan and Mercedes Evans of Beaumount, Texas; five brothers, Amose Logan of Beaumont, Texas, Robert Johnson of Orange, Texas, Bob Logan of Orange, Texas, Shedrick Logan of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Kevin Logan of Austin, Texas; special nieces Penelope Saddler, Wanda Melebeck, Kiisa Holland, Kizzy Holland, Antonett Couthen, and Heather Person; special nephews, Eric Thomas, Kayshawn Wray, Michael Williams, Hugh Holland, Keshawn Wray, Lil Bob, Kevin Grayson, Kalep Wray, Deonte Williams Sims; special cousin, Sharita Burnett; sister-in-law, Lakisha Williams; three brothers-in-law, James Williams, James Williams, Jr., and Christopher Williams.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Amoze Logan; mother, Ethel Logan; sisters, Rosa Neal, Jeryl Williams Jackson, and Ethel Williams; brothers, Malcom Logan, Howard Logan, and Patrick Logan; and mother-in-law, Shirley Simpson.
