Ms. Lottie Mae Sears passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Masonic Pathways in Alma, Michigan. Age 69 years. She was born February 7, 1953, in Wetumpka, Alabama to Ruben and Willie Mae Sears. Lottie graduated from Wetumpka High School, Class of 1971.
Lottie was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She retired from St. Mary’s Hospital after 28 years of service, and was the owner of Lots Cleaning Service. Lottie enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, garage sales, and most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Lottie leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Sharella; 3 sons Roderick, Kelvis and Tellis Sears; grandchildren, Janaiya, Kelvis, David, Braylon, Jaiden, Kaiden, Keltin, Emeri, Terrance, Tylin, Nevaeh, Tellis, Kelvin, Calvin, Na’Zariyah, Ni’Ajah, De”Quavion, and Paige McMurren; great-grandchildren, Kelwon Sears, Cia-mier Kartier Payton, Domani Shavers, and Aubrey Kamill Davis; four sisters, Louise Sears, Lula Pierson, Betty (Kirkland) Washington, and Debra (Ronald) McKethern; a host of nieces and nephews; five aunts, Lillie Faulk, Julia Humphrey, Charlsie Thomas, Lizzie (John) Moore, and Carri B. Williams; one uncle, Henry Lee (Debra) Franklin; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Pamela Beamon, Carrie Dillard, Leon (Brenda) Pritchett, and Gina Thompson; godmother, Juanita Smith.
Lottie was preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Willie Mae Sears, Ruben Sears Jr., sister, Barbara Whitney, and special friend, Leonard Williams.
