Louis Addison, Jr.

Mr. Louis Henry Addison, Jr. was given his wings on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the home of his beloved family at age fifty-one. He was born June 22, 1968 in Saginaw, Michigan to Louis Henry Addison Sr. and Nancy White.

Louis loved reading the Bible and listening to music. He was very stylish and loved his hats, shoes and old school cars. He loved soul food and was known for his famous word “cole.” He also enjoyed making family and friends laugh. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves precious memories with his daughters, Ashley, Iesha, Arnae and Alexis Addison, all of Saginaw, Michigan; sons, DaVonte Kelly, Georgia, Justin Pearson, Atlanta, Georgia, Louis Henry III, Nathan and Shylin Addison, all of Saginaw, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Shamiya, Karmelo, Kai, Heaven, Isabelle, Royalty, Isaiah, Messiah, Malachi; three brothers, Terry Wayne (Sonja) Addison, Cincinatti, Ohio, Reggie Frazier Addison, Etoyi Johnson, both of Saginaw, Michigan; six aunts, Alma Rucker, Chicago, Illinois, Shirley Goodman, Millington, Tennessee, Towanda Reed, Mississippi, Betty Baynes, Arizona, Shirley Sandaire, East Lansing, Michigan; one great-aunt, Gloria Finch; one great-uncle, Emmette (Carolyn) Johnson, Saginaw, Michigan; special cousins, Edward Johnson, Christopher Griffin, John McCullum, Michael King, Colandus King, Edward Warner, Eric Young, William Young Jr., Craig Hayes, Karen Addison, Betty King, Diann Barnett, Channing Washington; many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Alton Wicker, Cary Durham, Patrick Washington, and Quentin Doxie.

Louis was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Addison; parents, Louis Addison Sr. and Nancy White; grandparents, Demus and Amanda Addison, Lewis and Thelma Reed.
