Luceia Walker

Luceia, better known as Randy, was born December 21, 1953 to the union of Leonard and Shirley Smith in Chicago, IL. Following a lengthy illness, she passed from this life into everlasting life on Sunday, September 13, 2009, having accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior several years ago.
Randy attended Chicago Public Schools and later relocated to Saginaw, MI with her family. She graduated from M.J. Murphy Beauty Academy in the 80s. Later, Randy decided to go into home health care and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Saginaw area until her sudden illness.
Randy loved to shop, dress and have fun. She was an avid reader. Randy loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and made lots of especially happy memories with the eldest four, Tamar Jr., Acashia, Brianna and Destiny.
Randy leaves to cherish her loving memory: son Tamar Heart and daughter LaKendra Rives; 18 grandchildren; five sisters: Stephanie Poole, Pam and Leslie Harris, Barbara Greenfield and Kimberly Smith; one brother: Mark Harris; two aunts: Lorraine McKinny and Ollie Johnson; three uncles: Henry, Sam and Ivory Alexander, their families and a host of other relatives and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by parents Leonard and Shirley, stepfather Austin Harris Sr., brother Austin Harris, Jr., nephew Brandon Harris, aunt Penny Moore, uncle John Long and grandparents on both sides.
