Lucille Robinson

Mrs. Lucille Robinson passed away Monday, July 18, 2011. Age 74 years. She was born January 6, 1937 in Marion, Alabama to David Sr. and Alberta Russell Foster.
Lucy moved to Saginaw with her family at the age of 3 years old. She attended Saginaw Public schools and later attended American Bible College in Nashville, TN where she studied Theology. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age at Tabernacle Baptist Church under Pastor R. B. Austin. She later united with Messiah Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Otis Washington, where she was involved in the Senior Choir, Mission Board and Chairman of the Trustee Board. Lucy was the owner of several Saginaw businesses, Unisex Travels, Christian Guidance Book Store and Robinsons Enterprise Clothing Boutique. She was also the originator and founder of the Buena Vista Annual Rib Cook-off. She received many civic awards for her outstanding contribution to Saginaw and Buena Vista Township.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John W. Robinson Jr.; her children, Howard (Debbie) Robinson, Sabrina Sullivan, Weslier Lee (Bill) Moorehouse, LaRonn (Pamela) Robinson, Bruce (Toronal) Robinson; a special daughter, Sandra (Eddie) Byas; grandchildren, Tank Robinson, Brandi Robinson, Brandi Walker, Shana Byas, TT Simmons, Mattie Williams, Shalain Simmons, Elizabeth Moorehouse, Deanna Moorehouse, LaRonn Robinson Jr., Tasha Allen, Bruce Robinson Jr., Khara Robinson; many great-grandchildren, sister, Marilyn Hill; brothers, Larry Foster, Louis Foster, Willie Foster, Glenn Foster (Bobby), sisters-in-law, Sandra Foster, Maxine Foster, Patricia Foster, Beatrice Foster; brothers-in-law, Howard Hill, Ossie Jackson, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents David Sr. (Alberta Russell) Foster; daughter, Angela Byas; son, Burnell Robinson; sister, Andra Foster-Jackson; brothers, Walter Foster, David Foster Jr.; son-in-law, Johnnie Sullivan.
