Lucy Love

Mrs. Lucy Love passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Avista Nursing and Rehab Center in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 75 years. She was born November 26, 1946, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to Adell and Nathaniel Kennedy.

Lucy was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She was educated in Kosciusko and was a high school graduate. Lucy attended First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, Michigan. She enjoyed cooking and watching soap operas. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lucy leaves to cherish her memory four daughters and two sons, Lesa Morales, and Lora (Edward) Comer, Saginaw, Michigan; Charles (Gloria) Love, Douglas (Theresa) Love, Kosciusko, Mississippi, Sharon (Joe) Love, and Lakeisha (Jerry) Love, of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Joseph Morales, Kansas City, Missouri, James Love, Terrill Love, Marcus Barney Jr., Yolanda Comer, Jarmeisha Wilson, Sha’Thalia Love, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Demetric Barney, Lansing, Michigan, Brandon Love, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dewaunika Comer, Toledo, Ohio, and Itasha Eubanks, Sallis, Mississippi, Charles Wilson, Sallis, Mississippi, Jamelia Wilson, Saginaw, Michigan, Precious Ellington, James Winters, Jayveon Thompson, and Donovan Love, all of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Adam Love, Philadelphia, Mississippi, and Nakeisha Love, Fort Worth, Texas; thirty-six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Willie (Lavonn) Epps, Dorothy (Driscol) McShane, and Katherine (Jimmy) Hill; one brother, Robert (Ruby) Wells Jr.; goddaughters, RoShawn Jackson, Shalena Jackson, and Latorya Comer; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, James Love; mother, Adell Wells, father, Nathaniel Kennedy, stepfather, Robert Wells; brother, Bobby Lee Wells, and god-sister, Airon Louise Thornton.
