Luola Harper

Mrs. Luola (Smith) Harper Mrs. Lee, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19, 2009 following a brief illness. Age 61 years.
Mrs. Luola (Smith) Harper Mrs. Lee was loved by everyone that knew her. She was born on February 9, 1948 in Autauga County, AL daughter of the late Will and Luzalia Smith. Luola came to Saginaw, MI in 1968. She married Louis Harper Jr. in 2000. Luola was a long time member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. She was employed at A&D Home Health Care until her illness. Luola loved God, shopping, cooking, eating, playing cards, playing the lottery and most of all she loved taking care of her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Louis Harper Jr. who stuck by her side all the way; two daughters, Sheryl (Neicy) Smith and Demerest (Levern Sr.) Smith; one son, Dion (Asa) Smith Sr. all of Saginaw, MI; four step-children, Patrick, Alithia, Robert and Thomas; seven grandchildren, Dionta Howard, Lavario, Artneil, Dion Jr., Domonique Smith, Jeffery Hill Jr. and Levern McFadden Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Samara, Jordan and MyKalia all of Saginaw, MI; two sisters, Mary (Will) Jackson and Rosie Lee (Marvin) Barley both of Prattville, AL; four god-sisters, Aunt Lula, Shirley, Mary Parham and Judy Jackson al of Saginaw, MI; five god-brothers, Uncle Charlie, Nathaniel Coonie Bledson, Ara Bay-Bro Weathers, Louis and Edward Green all of Saginaw, MI; very special son-in-law, Jeffery Hill Sr.; god-son, Larry (Mook) Poke; special niece, Donna Galloway; special cousin, Chicago Smitty and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Will and Luzalia Smith; sister, Willie Mae Wyatt; two brothers, Walter (Bo) Louis and Will Louis Rosschild; daughter, Toschia V. Smith and mother-in-law, Arlethia Anderson.
