Lyndon Bayne Johnson

Lyndon Bayne Johnson Skone passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at his residence. Age 49 years. He was born February 3, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan to Reverend Tom Sr. and Velma R. Johnson.
Lyndon was a faithful member of Bibleway Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Reverend Tom Johnson Sr. He attended Carrollton Schools and was a graduate of Bridgeport High School class of 1982. He loved basketball and possessed a strong passion for music. Lyndon was a bass player for the Johnson Spiritual Singers gospel group. Gone but not forgotten, his presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Antanisha Dequlle Sampson; one son, Lyndon Marquise Sampson; grandchildren, Torre Detavion Sampson, Brandon Lamarr Shell, Cody Cortez Freeman, Tanaigah Farris Sampson; eight sisters, Bernadine (Bobby) Jelks, Olivia (Danny) Dottery, , Barbara Johnson, Ameal Johnson and Mildred Hick, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Loretta (Jeng- Gus) Khan, Southfield, Michigan, Cherry (Jerry) Givens, Grand Blanc, Michigan, Ina (Henry) Bynum, Bay City, Michigan; three brothers, Elder Samuel (Phyllis) Johnson, Grand Blanc, Michigan, Virgil (Jeanette) Cotton, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jerry (Bobbie) Johnson, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Ola Mae Johnson; many other relatives and friends including his soulmate and love of his life, Linda Gray.
Lyndon was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Tom Johnson Sr. and Velma Ruth Johnson, one sister, Rose Marie Lewis, brothers, Tom Johnson Jr., Wendell Terry, Rollie and Melvin Johnson.
