Ms. Magnolia Buford, “Nola”, was born December 22, 1952 in Tunica, Mississippi to Napoleon Sr. and Eulla L. Buford. Her name was called to glory on Thursday, October 29, 2020 after 67 years of living.

Nola attended the public schools of Tunica, Mississippi. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was a member at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

Magnolia was the Matriarch of her family. She was a high-spirited homemaker who loved to cook and go fishing. She also loved gardening and listening to her blues. Magnolia was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister who will greatly be missed.

Magnolia was preceded in death by her husband of over 47 years, Hugh Williams; father, Napoleon Buford Sr.; brothers, Napoleon Jr., Henry, Robert, and Milton Buford; sisters, Monnie L. and Shirley Buford.

Magnolia’s life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Charles, Tyrone, Hugh, Dominic, and Demetrius Buford; mother, Eulla Lee Buford; grandchildren, Tyvon, Tyree, Dontae, Davon, Daisha, Giovanni, Tamarion, Damarion, Lil Charles, Deshawn, Tywon, Mario, Rio, Devonta, Valencia, Kwamaine, Charlotte, Lanell, Ronell, Denzel, and Tiffany; sisters, Christine Buford Jackson, Alma Buford, Joann Buford, and Brenda Buford; brothers, Alonzo Sr., James, Eddie, Gilmer, and Senarch Buford; many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
