Mamie Choyce (Lansing)

Mrs. Mamie Choyce was born October 15, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York. The daughter of Virginia Isabell and Charles Yeverton. She passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024. Age 75 years.

Mamie was born in Brooklyn, New York, but resided in Ossining, New York until she moved to Lansing, Michigan. Here she began her career at General Motors which is where she retired from. Mamie loved to dance and spend time with her friends and loved ones. She had the type of personality where she loved everyone that she met. She was a great mother and grandmother.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Marvin Choyce; children, Denise Marie Cheeks of North Carolina and Ronald Cheeks of Ossining, New York; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 10 nieces; and 2 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Cheeks; 5 sisters; and 2 brothers.
