Manuela De La Garza (Lansing)

Ms. Manuela De La Garza passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems – Sparrow Campus in Lansing, Michigan. Manuela was born October 21, 1986, in Lansing, Michigan to Sylvia De La Garza.

Manuela lived in Lansing for most of her life. She traveled often when she got the chance.  She finished high school with three kids! Manuela loved to paint, color, as well as crochet. She loved to do any kind of puzzle game or brain twister. In addition to those activities, she would take her kids and sister, along with nieces and nephews, to walk along the Grand River on the trail. Manuela was a very giving and kindhearted person. She was very likeable, had a loving personality, and a beautiful smile.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Natalie and Kaileigh; sons, Nathaniel, Jeremiah, and Lorenzo; grandchild, Genevive “Genie”; grandparent, Mary De La Garza; sister, Gwynnevere De La Garza; brother, Clearance Shannon, Jr.; 4 nieces; 1 nephew; 5 aunts; twelve cousins; many other relatives and friends.

Manuela was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia De La Garza (12/4/21) and sister, Maria De La Garza-Shannon (12/9/21).
