Marcell DeAndre Darby passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper from a life-long illness. Age 21 years. He was born March 1, 1991 in Saginaw, Michigan to Ronnie Jones and Ebony Darby.
Marcell grew up within a devoted family who exhibited affectionate love toward one another. He was educated in several school districts where he enjoyed culinary arts and chasing girls. He also enjoyed sports, music and video games.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Ebony Darby and Ronnie Jones; grandparents, Cheryl Darby, James Jones, Claude Moore, Arlene Jones, Ronnie Jones; great-grandparents, Marjorie Noel; two sisters, Quanterria Darby, Shernice Wiley; three brothers, DaNatus Darby, Allen Amos, DeRonnie Goodman; five aunts, Claudia Darby, Pauline Jones, Lorene Noel, Mattie Darby, Lucille Simpson; eight uncles, Eric (Carolyn) Gunn, James Gunn, Torrence Darby, Drico Jones, Robert Noel, Michael Noel, Charlie and Oscar Darby; many other relatives and friends including a special cousin, James Smothers, special friends, Aurilus Perkins and Niko Griffin.
Marcell was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Annie Simpson, Erma Jones, Rachel Wilford, and uncle, Terrance Jones.
