Marcia Raby (Lansing)

Ms. Marcia Joyce Raby passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, in her Lansing home, surrounded by close family. 67 years old. Marcia was born on March 3, 1957.

Marcia was a woman who found happiness in hospitality. There was nothing she loved more than hosting dinners and cookouts for the people she loved most. She often became close with people she met and considered them family. Marcia took great pride in all her grandchildren and loved all her cats dearly.

Marcia leaves to cherish her memory, father, Jim King; fiancé, Edward Thompson of Muskegon, Michigan; daughters, Beth (Danny) Watson of Whiteville, Tennessee and Angela Austin of Lansing, Michigan; grandchildren, Carey (Skyler) Mitchell of Michie, Tennessee, Halie (Bradley) King of Whiteville, Tennessee, Anthony (Mercedies) Jean of Lansing, Michigan, Jade Austin of Lansing, Michigan, Raven Watson (Cullen) of Burlison, Tennessee, Lark Austin of Lansing, Michigan, and Chayce Watson of Whiteville, Tennessee; Marcia also leave a legacy of 9 great grandchildren, Carrington, Waylin Knox, Rosalie, Mason, Atticus, Oakley, Lillith, and Ophelia. She also leaves behind a very special friend and caretaker, Eliza Houston.

Marcia was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Clish.
