Ms. Margaret Jean Parks passed away due to a lengthy illness. Age 60 years. She was born on June 29, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Peter and Annie Woods.
Margaret was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and was raised in the church. She was the youngest daughter of Pete and Annie Woods; she loved all of her family and friends. After high school, Margaret attended Saginaw Business Institute and worked several jobs. She was kind-hearted and would share with you whatever she had. Her bright, wonderful spirit will definitely be missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Yvonne (Robert) Laster, III; one son, Anton Gregory Parks, Jr.; grandchildren, Erykah Simone Youngblood, Nadiya Grace Idalski, RaVynn Mar’ee Laster, Anari Monae Parks, Aniyah Giselle Parks; sisters, Annie Louise Curry, Vera Mae Woods; brothers, Sherman (Rita) and Richard Woods; nieces, Angela Parkes, Annie Evans, Arica Collins, Dameka Woods, Sharia Woods, Kendra Woods, Sharonda Blunt, Marcy Knight, LaKisha Grimmett, Regina Wicker-Bey; nephews, Anthony Curry, Arnold Curry, Peter Woods, Peter Dennis, Sherman Woods, Jr., and Jalen Woods.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Annie Woods; son, James Woods; brother, Peter Woods, Jr.; niece, Aaliyah Caldwell; nephews, Richard Blunt, Tyrone Curry, Peter Martin; godparents, Jimmie and Minnie Franks, and Anton Parks, Sr.
