Margaret Knuckles Jackson

Ms. Margaret Knuckles Jackson passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 80 years. She was born March 26, 1934 in Little Rock, Arkansas to John and Ruth Knuckles.
Margaret relocated to Saginaw, Michigan from Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1953. She was a former member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully served on the Usher Board and worked in the kitchen. Throughout the years, Margaret worked at several restaurants. She enjoyed her cats, gardening and playing cards. Margaret was a very sassy lady who loved to dress. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory one daughter, Janice Jackson (Punch) of Saginaw, Michigan; three sons, Freddie (Barbara) Jackson and Rafeal Dewayne Jackson both of Saginaw, Michigan and Frank (Yolanda) Collins of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren including five special grandchildren, Marcus Jackson of Dallas, Texas, Tawana Crayton Treasie, Edward Amar, Xavier and Jessica Page all of Saginaw, Michigan; seven great-grandchildren; six sisters, Ellen C. Melton, Mattie Taylor and Beatrice Jones all of Saginaw, Michigan, Ruth Lowery of Stockton, California, Ceola Fredericks and Clora Shivers both of Clinton Township, Michigan; three brothers, John Knuckles Jr. of Bay City, Michigan, Lee Wesley Knuckles Louis and Arthur Knuckles both of Saginaw, Michigan; two special nieces, Doris Henix Draine of Saginaw, Michigan and Sherry Knuckles of California; very special cousins, Judy B. Jackson of Saginaw, Michigan and her family; Odesser Knuckles and her family of Racine, Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Knuckles of Bay City, Michigan and Oreata Knuckles of Saginaw, Michigan; one brother-in-law, Alvin Henix Sr.; many other relatives and friends including special friends, the Arthur family, Zoredie Hicks, H. "Pete" Myles and David Hughes.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Knuckles, one son, Calvin Jackson Bird, one sister, Sarah Henix, two brothers, Leroy and J.T. Knuckles, one grandson, Damien Jackson , three nephews and one niece.
The family would like to express special thanks to the staff Covenant Healthcare-Harrison ICU Unit, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
