Ms. Margaret Diaz Teneyuque departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her residence. Age 84 years. She was born March 20, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Baldomero and Martina Diaz. Margaret was a member of St. Joseph Parish under the leadership of Pastor Frank Voris. She was employed at General Motors Saginaw Steering Gear for 15 years and was a member of UAW Local 699. She retired December 31, 1999. Margaret enjoyed sewing, planting and going to the casino. She especially enjoyed dancing. Margaret loved spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Linda Suttles; two sons, Alfredo Teneyuque Jr. and Joe Leal; a special grandson she raised as her own, David Teneyuque Jr.; grandchildren, David (Angie) Teneyuque, Monique Teneyuque, Gino (Lisa) Teneyuque, Jose (Gina) Teneyuque, Mary Teneyuque, Ramon (Ashley) Teneyuque, Troy (Sabrina) Galardo, Roselinda Teneyuque, Ceasar (Mary Lee) Huerta, Christina (Jerome) Hall and Olivia (Craig) Barber; one sister, Martina Sanchez; one brother, Benny Diaz; many other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Teneyuque Sr., one son, David Teneyuque Sr., one great-grand-daughter, Linda Teneyuque, her parents, Martina Amador and Baldomero Diaz, grandmother, Catalina Amador, two brothers, Nick and Baldomero Diaz, one sister, Martinita Diaz. The family wishes to express special thanks to Covenant Healthcare Hospice, Ben Olivarez, Monique Teneyuque, Freddy Teneyuque, Gregorio Teneyuque, Mary Cortez, Alice Hernandez and everyone who offered condolences and words of encouragement.
