Margie Lee Barnes passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center. Age 65 years. She was born July 16, 1945 in Bremen, Georgia to Everlee Barker and Lloyd McConnell.
Margie loved to cook, you could always count on a home cooked meal and good music anytime you were at her home.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters and three sons, Marlette, Frederick, Isaac, Robbie Barnes, Rhondella (Clarence) Burton all of Saginaw, MI, Anita Brown, Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren, Ranada, Terry, Erica, Keyasja, Alisha, Marry, Ricky, Jessica, Joseph, Shacara, Tacara, Saginaw, MI, Keesha, Aarun, Grand Rapids, MI, Kawanna (Pernell) Reid, Marilyn Brown, Pennsylvania; 21 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Fifer, Rondalyn Barker, Mary Williams; two brothers, Steve Barker, Robert Barker Jr.; aunt, Marjoree Richardson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Joyce and Ms. Gladys.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Everlee and Robert Barker; grandmother, Emma Caldwell; brother, David Michael Barker.
