Mrs. Maria Carmen Carranza passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper. Age 88 years. She was born February 16, 1929 in Guerrero, Mexico to Prudencio Carranza and Santos Segura.
Maria Carmen Carranza enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, fishing and spending time with family. She will be sorely missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.
She leaves to treasure loving memories three daughters and six sons; Graciela (Jesus) Olascuaga, Felipe (Kelly) Echeverria, Celina Maldonado, Francisco Echeverria, Alvaro (Jenny) Echeverria, Teodoro (Itzel) Echeverria, Santos (Diana) Echeverria, Acela (Pedro) Roman and Tomas Echeverria; twenty-five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Carranza was preceded in death by her parents, Prudencio Carranza and Santos Segura; husband, Juan Echeverria; one son, Angel Echeverria; three sisters, Jovita Garcia, Josefina Carranza and Francisca Chavez; one brother, Santiago Carranza.
On Saturday, October 28, all food should be delivered to St. Francis of Assisi Church Hall, 3680 South Washington Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48601.
