Ms. Marie E. Huntley was born March 29, 1959 in West Helena, Arkansas to Louise Huntley and Frank Barrett. While surrounded by her loving family, she was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the age of 60 years.
Marie attended Bridgeport Adult Education before working at Vlasic Pickle Factory. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Johnie Edwards, Sr.
Marie’s hobbies included shopping, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She loved planting flowers and working in her garden. Her beautiful smile and sweet spirit will truly be missed.
Marie was preceded in death by her son, Barry Richardson, Jr.; mother, Louise Huntley; brother, Willie Huntley; grandmother, Evelina Shelton.
She leaves precious memories with her loving companion, Barry D. Richardson, Sr.; daughters, Latonya Lindsey, Patrina Richardson; stepson, Andre Gibbs; grandchildren, Shy’Tavia Luke, Deja Caldwell, Davene Caldwell, D’Tayvion Luke, all of Phoenix, Arizona; great-grandchildren, Kha’Mari Brown, A’Niyah Luke; five brothers, Elliott Shelton, Saginaw, Michigan, Anthony, Quentin, Gerald, Brian Huntley, all of Phoenix, Arizona; aunts, Eva and Evelyn Hobson, both of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; cousins, Edna Sims, St. Louis, Missouri, Leslie Peeples, Detroit, Michigan; sisters-in-law, Arwand Conner, Gail Richardson, Dellena Conner, Mary Henderson, Michelle Morris, Patricia Conner, Danielle Negrete, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Diane Huntley, Phoenix, Arizona; brothers-in-law, Michael Richardson, Dan Richardson, Jr., Sherma Richardson, Zebedee Love, Robert Conner, all of Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends Minnie Caldwell, Sherry Kincaid and Barbara Johnson.
