Mario Darcell Bulger "Rio"

Mr. Mario Darcell Bulger “Rio” passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper. Age 35 years. Mario was born December 18, 1987, in Saginaw, Michigan to Bronson Bulger Jr. and Denise D. Pierson.

Mario was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Saginaw High School. He was formerly employed at Nexteer, Leer, Rensol Recruitment, and many others. Rio enjoyed hanging out with his brother, going out to eat, traveling, shopping, and looking good. He loved spending time with his children, other family, and friends. He was a ladies’ man with a smile that would brighten up a room and a chuckle that was contagious. Rio was an all-around “cool guy” to everyone who knew him.

Mario leaves to cherish loving memories, four daughters and three sons, Chamarionna Bulger, Zaniyah Fields, Mario Bulger Jr., Armond Bulger, A’mari and Mar’Sanii Bulger, Royalty Bulger; three stepchildren, Kimora and Kamiah Harris, Kemaureon Woods; his mother, Denise Pierson; two sisters, Tia Pierson and Tamela Franklin; two brothers, Bronson Bulger III, and Leylan “Fat Daddy” Roberson; four nieces, Teondria Anderson, Bre’asia Bulger, Taniyah Pierson, and Demarcrionna Franklin; four aunts, Patricia Pierson, Delores Roberson, Alfreda Pierson, and Annette (Marcellus) Sunday; four uncles, Larry Pierson, Lester Roberson, Terry Bulger, and Keith Bulger; many cousins including, ‘Lil Milton, Cheryl, Fontaine, Leslina, CeCe, James, Tisha, Starla, Marquez, Ranika (Cleo), Laquarius, Latoya, Porche, ‘Lil Edward, Keith, Donovan, Keisha, Marcus, Monique, Alonzo, and ‘Lil Larry. Rio also leaves his children's mothers, Charday, Antonette, Briana, and Ivoryana; special friends, Charday W., Katora W., T’Mesha W., and Joi F; other friends, Jamaica, Shamell, Lance, Dee, Kendrell, Monterrion, Sterling, Trey, Londra, Roddie, A’Daesha, Dominique, Christina, Freddie, ‘Lil Andre, Q, Chris, Mike, Quentin, Marky, Red, and the 10th & Burt Family.

Mario was preceded in death by his father, Bronson Bulger Jr.; grandparents, Mattie and Milton Pierson, Annie Lue McQueen and Bronson Bulger, Sr.; uncles, Chris Bulger, and Milton Pierson Jr.; cousin, Cecilia Andrea Palmer; and friends, Lloyd Henry and Hubert Hoking.
