Mark Blacksher Sr.

Our beloved husband, father, brother and friend, Mr. Mark Anthony Blacksher went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Heartland Health Care Center-Saginaw. Age 45 years. He was born June 14, 1970 to Williease (Brisco, Sr.) Blacksher and Lee Owens, Sr.
Mark graduated from Saginaw High School in 1988 and he attended Delta College. Mark was adventurous and had a love for gospel music, which he loved to sing. Many enjoyed listening to Marks great voice. He was a member of the singing group Phihace where he led the song One Chance in 1993. Mark Married Kyla Brown on March 7, 2010. He worked for Heartland Health Care for many years and was currently employed at Magnum Care of Saginaw until his sickness. Mark will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mark leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Kyla Blacksher; eight children, Octavia, Brandon, DeMarcus, Mark Jr., Isiah, Nasir, Marnae and MiAngel; five step children; one grandson, Major Turner; eleven sisters including a special sister, Wanda, Cheryl and Vivian Blacksher, Debra Allen, Phyllis McAfee, Tionette and Tara Ingram, Anthoinette Owens, Melinda Owens, Vicky Hams and Jeanne Young; one uncle, Jimmy Boose; stepfather, Ernest Johnson; fifty-four nieces and nephews and forty-seven great nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Williease (Brisco Sr.) Blacksher and Lee Owens, Sr., one brother, Arthur Blacksher, one aunt, Pearlie Holmes.
