Marlaine Williams

August 16, 1955 — April 10, 2021

Marlaine J. Williams passed away on Saturday April 10, 2021 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. She was born on August 16, 1955 to Marvin and Elaine Porter.

Marlaine was a resident of Akron Michigan and, a graduate of Frankenmuth High School. She retired from having worked in healthcare for many years. Marlaine’s hobbies included playing dice, shooting pool, and darts. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Marlaine was a fun-loving person with many friends who will miss her very much.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: One Daughter, Jennifer Avila (Williams); Three Sons, Jamie Williams, Daniel "Vern" Williams and Jonathon Williams; Fiancé, Dave Freel; Grandchildren, Alanah, Kiersten, Peyton, Elizabeth, Sarah, Sebastian, Alexis, and Mark; Sister, Janet Erwin (Porter); Many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins; along with many other family members. Special friends Marlaine had were: Debbie Frelitz (Blood Sister) Brianna Ruiz (future daughter-in-law). Tammy Sheridan and, Susie Wood.

Marlaine was preceded in death by her spouse, Daniel Mark Williams, son, Nicholas Ray Williams, mother Elaine Joyce Porter, and brothers, Tim, Marvin, and Alan Porter, father and mother-in-law Vern and Louise Marie Williams.

The family would like to express special thanks to Rich and Brenda Hewgley and Crew with Ironhorse Bar and Grill. Sam and Fay with Hailies Quickstop and, many other friends of the Village of Akron.
