Marvin Farris 'Big Marv'

Mr. Marvin Terrell Farris Big Marv passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at his residence. Age 35 years. He was born April 5, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan to Joyce Lee Farris and Bobby Ray Buell.
Marvin was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He attended Saginaw Public Schools. Marvin was a member of The Potters Touch Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Kareem Bowen. He had been previously employed by the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Wendys Restaurant and Saginaw Geriatrics Nursing Home. Marvin enjoyed playing video games, fishing, dancing and joking around. He also enjoyed music, singing and rapping. Marvin loved to cook and he always compared his food to that cooked by someone else. He never met a stranger or someone he didnt like. He loved talking to anyone that would listen and hed be your friend afterwards. You could often find Marvin playing a game of cards and dominoes or relaxing watching a good movie. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Aleicha Farris; one daughter and three sons whom he loved dearly, Marvin Terrell Farris, Jr., Marquay Travell Farris, Martavis Tranelle Farris and Marleya Karyana Lee Farris; one stepdaughter, Andreonna Nacole Causey; parents, Joyce Lee Farris and Bobby Ray Buell; two sisters, Felicia and Telicia Farris; one brother, Eric Dwayne Buell; three nieces, Breonna Buell, Nefeteria and Ashante Demers; four nephews, Eric Buell Jr., Jeremiah Terrell Buell, Devon Bishop II and Jaivon Farris; five aunts, Mary Carter and Ivory McIntire both of St. Louis, Missouri, Shirley Doss of Defiance, Ohio, Orita Faries and Sheila Buell both of Saginaw, Michigan; mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Terri Caldwell; four sisters-in-law, Ronda Caldwell (Sterling Nelson), Latosha, Amber and Briana Caldwell; many other relatives and friends including close family friend, Jermaine Pringle.
Marvin was preceded in death by one son, Martrell Dwayne Farris, grandparents, Arthur Lee Farris Sr. and Ruthie Lee Farris, Willie and McKinley Buell Sr., three aunts, Pearletha Farris, Annie Louise Farris and Ruthie B. Williams, two uncles, Robert Lee Farris and Arthur Lee Farris Jr.
