Mary Elizabeth Richardson

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Richardson passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015. She was born February 4, 1927 in Free Soil, Michigan. Mary was the daughter of Louis Lane and Cornelia White.
Mary was a 1946 graduate of South High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 12, 1975. Mary loved the ministry, especially writing letters to comfort those who lost loved ones in death. She was affectionately known as "Granny" by those close to her. Mrs. Richardson was employed for many years by the Saginaw Housing Commission. She enjoyed cooking for her son, studying the Watchtower, planting her flowers in her yard and sitting on her
front porch.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory three sons and two daughters, Robert Eugene (Renee) Richardson, Rockland Louis Richardson, Calvin Gregory Richardson, Lauren Lee and Kimberly Muskeyvalley; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Kaleithia Richardson; two sisters, Mattie Calahan and Carrine Armstrong; two brothers, Calvin Lane and Chester White; Mary also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Sue Archangeli and Josephine Payne.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by a son, Vance Richardson, a granddaughter, Carmen Maxie, two brothers, Henry Lee White and Harlan White.
Memorial Service: Saturday, August 1, 2015 - 4:00 p.m.
