Mary Ann Ezell passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at Magnum Care of Saginaw. Age 77 years. She was born January 27, 1936 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to Corrine and Landon Taylor.
Mary Ann accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She lived for the Lord until she was taken home to glory. Mary Ann served faithfully at the Ninth Street Community Church for many years under the leadership of Pastor William L. Scott Jr. She retired from the Buena Vista School District after 20 years of service. Mary Ann enjoyed helping others and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She truly was a blessed woman of God and her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Diane (Robert) Daniel, Flora (Donald) Weston, Christine Crudup, Shaunter Ezell; four sons, John A., David, Artie and Jimmy Ezell; twenty-six grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Houston; one brother, Landon Taylor III; one uncle, John (Ruby) Hocker; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Brenda Jackson of Shelbyville, Kentucky; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Betty Harris.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Corrine and Landon Taylor; one son, Robert Ezell, one sister, Joyce Gilmore, one brother, Arvis Washington, one grandson, Terriance Parham.
The family would like to express special thanks to John and Brenda Parham, the Boone-Dox Reunion Crew, Tyrone Bridgewater, Hospice Advantage, Compassionate Care of Saginaw and the many friends and family who have shown your love and support to us during our time of bereavement.
