Today we celebrate the joyous home-going of Mother Mary Inell Randolph, who went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 4, 2016, surrounded by her family. Age 96 years. Mary Vaughn was born November 7, 1919 in Peoria, Illinois to Thomas and Ollie Vaughn. She resided in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and later relocated to Lansing, Michigan.
She worked as a silk finisher for many years. Mother Mary's favorite quote was Understanding Means Everything.
Mother Mary Randolph was a faithful member of Grace Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Nicholson.
Mother Mary enjoyed helping others in the community, a foster grandmother to many, volunteered with the Presidential polls and served the Veterans at Fort Custer for many years. Mary Inell Randolph was a mother to many that crossed her path.
Mary Inell Randolph leaves to cherish her memory her children, Calvin Randolph , Suzette McElrath both of Lansing, Michigan, Joseph Randolph (Lucille) , Benton Harbor, Michigan; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren; son-in-law, Marcus Hayes , Lansing, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ollie Vaughn; daughter, Flora Hayes; and husband, Calvin Randolph, Sr.
