Mary Lou Head

Ms. Mary Lou Head passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan-Saginaw. Age 70 years. She was born on September 24, 1947 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Harold and Dorothy (Wallace) Grubbs.

Mary was a former resident of Morenci, Michigan where she was employed many years at the Morenci Rubber Plant. She loved the outdoors, camping and spending time with her grandsons. Mary had many pets which she care for over the years, most recently her puppy, Chico. Mary was married to the love of her life, Arthur Clare Head in 1978. He preceded her in death in 1988.

She leaves to cherish loving memories two sons, Harold E. Schmitz, Lima, Ohio and Donald (Kristin) Schmitz, Freeland, Michigan; grandchildren, Matthew, Brett and Samuel Schmitz, Freeland, Michigan; three sisters, Jean Sickmiller, Mountain View, Missouri, Ella May Demeritt and Mildred Rice, Bronson, Michigan; nieces, Lee Ann, Michelle, Wanda, Eve, Sue Ann and Janet; nephews, William, Randy, David, Scott, Cory and Jody; special friend, Dan Brown.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; parents, Harold and Dorothy Grubbs, and sisters, Betty and Marilyn.
