Ms. Mary T. Ailes peacefully made her transition to eternal rest on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the age of 104 years old. She was born October 15, 1910 in Lake Providence, Louisiana to Idele Reynolds and Henry Herbert Thomas.
Mary enjoyed knitting, reading the Bible and magazines. She loved looking at pictures with her family and sharing memories. Her wonderful presence will be truly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory two nieces, Sally Thomas and Rose (Nathaniel) Burney; four nephews, Henry (Pearlie) Hunter, Bill Joe Thomas, Zelma (Terry) Thomas and Tommy (Renee) Thomas; many great- nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ailes, one brother, Henry H. Thomas, one sister, Elma Thomas, and a niece, Mary E. Reed.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff and nurses of Saginaw Senior Care Center for their exceptional care of our loved one.
