Mary Turner

July 8, 1953 — June 15, 2018

Mary Stein Barnes-Turner was born July 8, 1953 in Batesville, Mississippi to George W. Barnes and Rosie Mae Griffin. A long-time resident of Saginaw, Michigan, she loved the outdoors. Fishing was her favorite thing to do. She loved the peaceful and calming atmosphere of nature while fishing. She would then take that fish and cook it for her family, whom she loved fiercely. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was delighted to see them grow up and watch over them. She loved them all equally and whole-heartedly. On Friday, June 15, 2018, Mary gained her wings and transitioned from this life to eternal life, where she is now watching over all of us. Fly high Mary. Job well done.
