Matthew Riley, Jr. of Saginaw, MI passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Covenant Health Center after a lengthy illness. He was born April 9,1940 in Sallis, Mississippi to parents, Matthew and Myrtle D. Riley. Matthew served in the US Army over 11 years and received an honorable discharge.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, father, Matthew Riley, Sr., Memphis, Tennessee, four brothers, three sisters, one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law; L.C. Riley, Ann Arbor, Michigan, Herbert Riley, Saginaw, Michigan, James (Debra) Riley and Robert Riley, Bay City, Michigan, Emma Eaton, Dorothy (Mitchell) Nickleberry) and Barbara Parham, Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and Peggy White Haulcy, a special friend who is as close as a sister.
Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle D. Riley, one brother, Hubert L. Riley, and grandparents McCoy and Emma Williams, several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
Matthew will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
